Description
English: Row houses located at 4–7 Logan Circle, N.W., in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

The homes are designated as contributing properties to the Logan Circle Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1972, and the Greater Fourteenth Street Historic District, listed on the NRHP in 1994.

  • 5 Logan Circle – Built around 1880, the four-story, brick, Second Empire-style row house originally served as the residence of patent attorney Dwight Partello. Additional occupants of the house have included Ruth Johnson, editor of the YWCA USA's Live Y'er newsletter.
  • 6 Logan Circle – Built in 1878 to the designs of architect Henry R. Searle, the five-story, stone, Richardsonian Romanesque-style row house originally served as the residence of Naval Commander Allen V. Reed. From 1940 until 1982, the building functioned as a nine-unit apartment house. The headquarters for the Institute for Cooperation in Space and Centeye Inc. were previously located at the address. 6 Logan Circle currently serves as a six-unit condominium.
