Northbourne is a suburb of Bournemouth, Dorset in England. It is in the north of the town and borders Ensbury Park.

Northbourne stands on what was once part of the Ensbury Estate one of the earliest settlements that sprung up along the Stour before Bournemouth came into existence Steeped in History the wonderful Grade II Listed Dower House in Wimborne Road just off to left of the Village of Northbourne still stands proud today There are several Gateways on to The Stour and the scenic Stour Valley Nature Reserve which runs along down to the Hamlets of Throop and Holdenhurst creating a series of countryside Walks The former Old Vicarage still stands proud today but now serves as a Toby Carvery enjoyed by many of the local residents The 1930's Crown Pub serves good food and is a good family venue


The Northbourne Surgery Wimborne Road has successfully merged with the Talbot Medical Kinson Road offering a choice of Surgeries for residents
