The Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) is a mid-level minor professional football league based in Memphis, Tennessee. [1]

The league was founded in 2009 and formed in 2010, with Charles Thompson as the founder and first president. [1] [2]

As of July 2017, the league has 24 teams located primarily in the Southeastern United States and Midwestern United States. [1]
