Regina Vitório (born January 4, 1970) is a stone industry entrepreneur and salesman. She holds Portuguese, European Union citizenship and is the co-founder, CEO, and lead salesman of LSI Stone.[1]

In 2016, she received the first award won by LSI Stone at the Natural Store Awards, carried out by Stone Federation Great Britain in 2016.[2]

In February 2018, being referred in the Portuguese newspaper Público (Portugal).

Regina was born on January 4, 1970, in Valverde, Santarém, Portugal, daughter of a small businessman from the central region of Portugal, she has one older brother and sister.

During her childhood, Regina showed a special interest in a family activity. At the age of 12, she developed an interest in the Stone Industry. She started the first experiences in the factory of her father at the age of 13, and by the age of 15, she does part of the company offices.

Regina attended School until age 18, with the ambition to become a teacher. Although Regina's father insisted that Regina should be a full-time family in the business and she became manager of the business. She launched Inovopedra Lda with her husband against his father's wishes in May 1999.

LSI Stone[edit]

Regina Vitório founded Inovopedra Lda, with her husband in 1999, Pedro Vazão. Regina from the beginning took the position of CEO of the company, being also responsible for sales, while her husband holds the position of COO. The company is internationally known as LSI Stone, the brand registered in 2008.[3]

LSI Stone is located in Pedreiras, in the heart of Estremadura’s Limestone Massif, the most important center of limestone extraction in Portugal. The company is specialized in the supply and processing of natural stones.[4]

Awards and recognition[edit]

  • In 2016, Regina with LSI Stone win her the first Stone Award, Natural Stone Awards 2016, organised by Stone Federation Great Britain. The Award winner project was 7-8 St James’s Square.[5]
  • Natural Stone Awards 2018, was the second Stone Award, with the Clarges Mayfair Project.[6][7]
