Rasamathi (born 31 August 1983) is an Indian cinematographer. He has predominantly worked in films of Indian languages such as Tamil and Telugu.
Rasamathi was born in a small town called Thanipadi in Thiruvannamalai district, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a son of famous Tamil Poet and Lyric writer Arivumathi. Rasamathi graduated from M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute.
He started his career as an assistant cinematographer from the Tamil film Aanandham. After working in various Tamil films such as Poovellam Un Vasam, Anbe Sivam, Kalloori, Panchatanthiram. Rasamathi debuted as a Cinematographer at a Tamil film Sakkarakatti on 2008.
