Patrick Ponce is an American Speedcuber who held the former world record single for the 3x3 Rubik's cube, 4.24 seconds, set on the 2nd of September 2017 at Northeast championship 2019[1]. Patrick took the record from Feliks Zemdegs, and Australian speedcuber commonly referred to as the fastest solver of the 3x3 Rubik's cube in the world. Feliks took the record back on May 6th 2018 at Cube for Cambodia 2018[1]

Biography[edit]

Patrick Ponce started cubing in 2012. His first competition was Princeton Fall 2012, where he got a single of 25.08 seconds.[1] By the end of 2013, he was sub 10 seconds with a new personal best of 9.23 seconds.
