This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). Madison Cunningham is a progressive bluegrass singer and songwriter. She has appeared on A Prairie Home Companion, hosted by Chris Thile. Cunningham has also toured with the Punch Brothers and Andrew Bird.
She grew up in Orange County, California, where she was the oldest of five daughters. Her style has been described by Atwood Magazine as being "situated somewhere between Joni Mitchell and Margaret Glaspy, bearing both a sweetness and flippancy in her airy voice."
