Madison Cunningham is a progressive bluegrass singer and songwriter.[1] She has appeared on A Prairie Home Companion, hosted by Chris Thile. Cunningham has also toured with the Punch Brothers and Andrew Bird.[2]

She grew up in Orange County, California, where she was the oldest of five daughters.[3] Her style has been described by Atwood Magazine as being "situated somewhere between Joni Mitchell and Margaret Glaspy, bearing both a sweetness and flippancy in her airy voice."[4]
