Gabriel Navarro (a.k.a. Gabe Navarro) is a Hispanic real-estate investor and serial entrepreneur from Florida. He is the partner at MMG Equity Partners,[1][2] and owner of FDC Vitamins and Nutri-force Nutrition.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Navarro was born to Jose and Gloria Navarro on May 18, 1974. He attended Columbus High School in Miami. In 1995, he graduated with a BS in Finance from University of Miami[3] and is a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.[4]

Career[edit]

Navarro started his career with Navarro Discount Pharmacies, a family-owned retail drug chain in South Florida since 1940.[5] Growing up the ladder, he last served as the CEO of the company until it was sold to CVS Pharmacy in the year 2014.[6] He was the Chief of Hispanic Consumer Growth at CVS after the acquisition and helped launch the ‘CVS y mas Hispanic’ format.[7][8]

Navarro was also the owner and board member of FDC Vitamins and Nutri-force Nutrition, a manufacturer and distributor of vitamins and supplements, until the sale of the company to Vitamin Shoppe in 2014.

Since early 2019, Navarro is a managing partner at MMG Equity Partners, a 2012-found family-owned investment firm based in Pinecrest, Florida[9][10] focused on the long-term ownership, management, development, and acquisitions of shopping centers in South Florida.

Navarro is associated with non-profit organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami where he serves as Co-Chair[11] and University of Miami Business School.[12]
