Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist (EMRS) is a professional-level certification awarded by the Building Biology Institute (buildingbiologyinstitute.org) for completing 120 hours on hands-on instructor-led seminar training and 200 credit hours of online course work in the discipline of Building Biology. Building Biology Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit environmental education organization, founded in 1987 by the architect Helmut Ziehe.
