Vinod Kumar Paul is an Indian pediatrician and faculty at the Department of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi since 1985. He is closely associated with India's health policy as well as child and maternal health programs.

In August 2017, he was appointed as a Member of the National Institution for Transforming India, NITI Aayog [1] where he leads the Health and Nutrition verticals. He has played a pivotal role in formulating the POSHAN Abhiyaan [2] and the Ayushman Bharat Yojana [3] of the Government of India. Recently he has been appointed as the Chairman of The Board of Governors of the National Medical Council of India.[4]

Prof. Paul is the recipient of the Dr.B. R. Ambedkar Centenary Award for Excellence in Biomedical Research and the Public Health Champion award[5].
