CrazyDeal is a New Zealand online retail company, based in Silverdale, Auckland. It sells a range of high quality, imported goods at a low price. The online shop sells home and living, outdoor and garden, sports and leisure, and IKEA furniture products.
Founded by Frank and his wife Crystal, CrazyDeal began as a Trade Me store in 2012 before becoming its own website in 2014. The name came from the desire to create a catchy name that’s easy to remember for bargain hunting Kiwis.
Frank and Crystal began importing costume jewelry from China in 2004, buying from a friend and selling them at wholesale prices to local gift stores across New Zealand with help from 6 sales reps.
They saw a gap in the market for products that were popular overseas, but weren’t being sold directly from manufacturers to New Zealand shops, and decided to become the middleman. Motivated to bring new products into New Zealand, they created a Trade Me store with the name CrazyDeal, beginning by selling costume jewellery and then expanding to include IKEA furniture, Bestway swimming pools, scalter scales, sricam security cameras and more. They have been operating under this company name since 2012.
In 2014 they expanded by creating their own website.
As the store grew so did their team, and now CrazyDeal has expanded from a 2 person business to over 30 people locally and internationally. They have two warehouses in China and a sourcing team.
CrazyDeal offers nationwide delivery. All purchased products are dispatched the next day using Post Haste Couriers. Larger items take 2-3 days for the North Island, and 3-5 days for the South Island. Rural deliveries may take 1-2 days longer.
In 2018 they created a VIP club. Members receive exclusive offers and discounts, are entered into a monthly draw to win a special product, and receive the latest news and announcements.
At present the brands they stock include:
- Nature’s Melody
CrazyDeal also sell products on GrabOne.
