Any Day is a 2015 US drama film written and directed by Rustam Branaman, produced by Darryl Marshak, and starring Sean Bean, Kate Walsh, Eva Longoria, and Tom Arnold in lead roles. The screenplay depicts a former boxer's return to his old town after serving a second-degree manslaughter prison sentence. It is set in inland California, providing a rustic backdrop.
After returning from prison and moving in with his sister (Kate Walsh) and her son (Nolan Gross), Vian (Sean Bean) is confronted with a series of events which will define his future. After courting a new girlfriend (Eva Longoria) and finding a job in a pizza parlor with the help of his new boss (Tom Arnold), Vian realizes that life's tests are more defined by relationships than actions. As a former fighter who has a reputation for solving problems with his fists, Vian is forced to adapt to his new life in sobriety. This proves increasingly difficult as his life is changed by a series of tragic events.
