Akhil4 is a 2020 Indian Telugu film written and directed by Bhaskar and produced by Bunny Vas on GA2 Pictures featuring Akhil Akkineni, Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The music was composed by Gopi Sundar while cinematography was handled by V. Manikandan.[1].



In February 2019, story discussions took place between Akhil Akkineni and director Bhaskar with GA2 Pictures's Bunny Vas attached to produce the movie.[2]

Muhurtham (Launch)[edit]

On May 24,2019 movie got officially launched at Filmnagar temple with Pooja. Akhil's parents Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni along with film crew joined the occasion. It was also revealed director Vasu Varma is co producing along with Bunny Vas[3].


The film crew auditioned over 100 actresses and models for leading actress[4]. They finalised Pooja Hegde as the lead in August 2019[5].


The filming is scheduled for July 2019. However with delay in finilising female lead, the filming is delayed. The filming started early September with all the lead actors filmed. [6]
